Wig Making Master Class

Wig Making Master Class

3 Day Wig Building Master Class

Group $2900

Private $3150

In an industry where the demand for high-quality wigs in films and everyday life is escalating, our Master Class, an extension of our Beginners Workshop, focuses on teaching participants how to craft film wigs and daily wear pieces from the ground up. We emphasize building foundations tailored to the head’s unique shape, using a head mold (“bubble”). This course simplifies foundation building by introducing a streamlined method that involves key measurements, lines, and angles, ensuring a fast and consistent creation process for various wig types, including custom topper bases, sheitels, medical foundations, and men’s hair systems. Our philosophy, “If you can whip stitch following a guideline, you can build a foundation,” makes advanced wig crafting skills accessible to all skill levels.

What Sets This Class Apart

The Master Class offers an additional day focused on the foundational skill of wig building not covered in the Beginners Workshop. We delve into a specialized technique involving a hard plastic mold of the head, which participants use to tailor the foundation precisely to the individual’s head shape. This unique, hands-on approach, taught exclusively in our workshop, ensures learners can apply comprehensive knotting techniques to the foundations they’ve learned to craft, enhancing their capability in custom wig construction.
